i don't like this a lot and i agree that it does have to be spanked!! the ad is implicitly showing sexual activity... that makes it still unethical for me

Spank this! I remember seeing this commercial before. My first impression was; "Ang Laswa!" Disgusting!

First of all this ad is again sexually suggestive! We all know Revicon has ginseng which is helpful for one's sex life. Revicon could have promoted their product in another way which isn't sexually suggestive. Second, this isn't the only unethical ad they've done. You guys remember the ad wherein the guy taking a bath was shocked when there were at least 5 gorgeous ladies waiting for him outside. Third, Its not true. I've heard a lot of testimonies from Revicon users that their claim of youthful strength is deceitful. That's unethical as well. But that's my personal opinion. Going back to the first point that its unethical since its sexually suggestive, that I am 100% sure.

They should have left it at the guy doing push ups.. at least exercise is good for the health. I like the Enervon ads better.. "More energy mas happy." More wholesome!

Human eyes view different images in many ways! We can look at the same thing but our interpretations are so much different from one another. This ad can be very easily summed up as a slow motion porno film! Another, is that one can look at it as a man doing sexual activity! Simply put, this is a terrible one, and a disgrace to our society!

The creator of this ad is very sleek, and has "malice aforethought" when this ad was made! It has the elements to capture the immediate attention of innocent young children. It is inappropriate and must be spank.

My friends and I are exercise fanatics! We spend most of our time in the gym to stay physically fit. Our group was bursting with anger followed by hate after we saw the ad! It is demeaning to men like us that faithfully exercise to stay strong and healthy. This ad is a disgrace to human mankind, and I encourage the general public to voiced their outcry and rage against this type of commercial ad. It is an act of indignation towards male gender. This ad will not be tolerated and we will make sure that our outrage is heard by the people responsible for creating this ad.

It seems like there is no end to the continuous display of undesirable ads/commercials which are viewed by various sector of our society. Perhaps it will take a court ruling to either to amend the advertising laws to make it more stringent, or abolish the OAAP and replace it with a "commission" which wll consist of prominent people selected by the business community, church gurus, private citizens, etc. This commission will serve as the ruling body of all ads/commercials. Lets face it, the one we have now stinks and full of loop holes, which allows corruption to be a big part of it! A petition is another way of changing the system and processes in the OAAP. There is always room for new changes to enhance the rule of law such as stiffer penalties, and full implementaion of it without exeptions. It is just my insight and personal perspective which might make a difference.

Thank you Kevin for your insights regarding this ad and the OAAP. We are a group of students that do not tolerate unethical ads and that's why we put up this blog. We wanted to create a venue wherein we can share our thoughts and influence others into thinking what is right. Unfortunately, some have already fallen into the trap where they cannot distinguish what is right and wrong.

Based on the comments and statistics of this blog, the group is also contacting the OAAP for advertisements which have violated the Advertising Code of Ethics. Hopefully, people would ACT and write to the OAAP or ADBOARD about ads that violate the Code of Ethics.

Through the help of people like you and other concerned citizens, we can keep watch and be critical about what we see and here from media. We should also ensure that what is being broadcasted promotes values and upholds the dignity of man and does not degrade the moral fibers of society.
